We have been providing a challenging, supportive - and yes, joyful - college preparatory education here for more than 110 years.
Founded in 1908, LCDS is an independent school that uniquely houses preschool-12th grade under one roof. This proximity combines with our small class sizes and dedicated staff to create a community that is deeply connected, with meaningful relationships among students and strong ties between students and their teachers.

Lancaster Country Day School
Lancaster Country Day School is a preschool-12th grade, coed college preparatory school with students from Lancaster, Hershey, York and Reading.
