Staff Positions

Full-Time Custodian
LCDS is seeking a full time custodian to provide school personnel, students, and the public with an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to work and conduct school activities.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the school building, facilities and equipment by ensuring regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Performing custodial tasks including, but not limited to:
- Cleaning offices and classrooms, including furniture and windows.
- Mopping floors.
- Cleaning the tops of student desks.
- Collecting and putting out trash.
- Cleaning the bathrooms.
Requirements:
- High School diploma with previous experience preferred.
- Ability to operate standard custodial equipment.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and to carry out instructions given in written or oral form.
- Ability to ascertain which people may need immediate assistance and to act accordingly.

Lead and Assistant Teachers | Horizons

Horizons at Lancaster Country Day School seeks qualified, talented, dynamic, and enthusiastic K-8 educators to serve as lead and assistant teachers during the 2023 six-week summer program.

The Horizons teacher will collaborate with other teachers, content specialists, and the administrative team to work with children, provide instruction and support for students, and assist with the educational and operational needs of the program throughout the six weeks.
